AZ-09: 'Feeds off hate': Rep. Paul Gosar's siblings back his opponent ahead of Nov. 5 election
Rep. Paul Gosar's siblings are again speaking out against his bid to stay in Congress, this time denouncing him as a "cruel" and "insecure" person.
In a lengthy video interview, three of Gosar's siblings endorsed his longshot opponent and leveled criticism at their brother that was both personal and political.
"Paul has become somebody that feeds off hate," said Jennifer Gosar. "He looks for validation from whatever's popular in the most extreme parts of our society."
Gosar is a Republican who represents Arizona's 9th Congressional District, which covers portions of the West Valley and most of western Arizona, including parts of La Paz, Maricopa, Mohave and Yuma counties. He was first elected in 2010 and previously practiced dentistry.
