I know we have had some pretty discouraging poll numbers lately, especially from NBC. However, CBS has a more encouraging poll, with Harris up 3 points. I think we can win the electoral college with a 3+ national plurality.
Now, before everyone jumps all over me about "don't believe the polls", I'm sorry, I do take them for what their worth, especially network news polls. They are a snapshot in time and have a wide range of MOE. Each poll could be off as much as 5 to 7 points, by their own admission (i.e. a 2.5% MOE means either way, in other words 5 points).
Having said that and informing my DU friends that I have done all I can for the Harris campaign from my retirement villa in the Philippines (contributed $500 and will cast an overseas ballot), let me finally get to my point.
Inside the CBS poll numbers that I have linked you to, it has an identical percentage for black voters for Harris as Biden received in the 2020 exit polls, 87% to 12%.
If this number is accurate and it holds on election day, there is no way Harris can lose.
