At his campaign rallies, Trump often leaps from one topic to another unrelated topic or train of thought, devolves into word salads and throws out wild claims and comments with the late, great Hannibal Lecter making more than one appearance.
Then came his debate performance, where Trump wildly and falsely claimed that migrants are eating pets in Springfield, Ohio.
Leading mental health experts, including a former White House doctor, told The Independent that he is showing signs of cognitive decline and appears to have lost touch with reality.

(4,451 posts)People like Musk and Thiel know that T's dissolving. They also know that he's a proven performer. T's clown show gets attention, sane-washed or not.
They'll replace T at their convenience, with a younger, healthier, "saner" dictator who can lie in complete sentences, once T's performance (and the cheating) takes the White House.
Follow the money. Look behind the curtain.

(315 posts)Trump's inner landscape is a dark and hellish place, a domain which requires the chastisement of the many which threaten or fail to share his hateful and extreme views. Such people require treatment, not elevation to the highest office in the land! Most striking to me is the derailment characteristic of Trump's speech. Objectionable, untrue, and absurd content aside, Trump literally cannot remain on topic for anything other than a short time...

(25,478 posts)If he gets elected there'll be a team behind the scenes running every bit of his administration and Vance there to take over if he totally falls off the wagon. Until then he's merely a figurehead puppet with all his strings controlled by the far right team of Steven Mill, Peter Thiel, and all the other puppet masters of Project 2025.
