Polling places in urban cities should be especially protected in battleground states on Election Day

I wouldn't put it past these MAGA fuckers to try to scare people from voting in the big cities using aggressive means. If it comes to it, armed Democrats should be on standby to help protect polling places (bullies often can't stand being challenged.)

I disagree that civilians should get involved in protecting public safety, but.... Think. Again. Monday #1
Yes it is best for law enforcement to be involved. Otherwise it's more likely for an altercation to happen DSandra Monday #2

...I think that extreme efforts must be made by law enforcement to pro-actively guard against the violence, disruption, and chaos that the rightwing has given us reason to believe they will be comitting.

Hopefully city mayors in these battleground states are getting enough law enforcement ready.

Rather than reinventing the wheel, volunteer with the existing organizations, which have decades of experience in voter protection.

Currently there are voter hotlines and early voting observation going on. Both need more volunteers, and lots more volunteers will be needed for election day.

Scroll down to "Get Involved," click on volunteer opportunities, and it will take you to the sign-up page.

(But it's a hard NO to armed Democrats. If you volunteer as an observer, you'll be trained as to what to do when anyone from either party tries that trick.)
