The PA voters who are looking for a reason to vote for her need to hear this constantly. Here in SW PA, the economy is absolutely booming. That message is not getting out enough. Everyone has money to spend and they are spending it.

I keep saying this — there are a lot of former trump voters who will not vote for him. They’re looking for a reason to vote for her. The negative ads against him don’t work. They already aren’t voting for him. The message from Kamala must be the economy. Tax cuts.

A big portion of the news around here is focused on a pretty large tax increase being proposed for Allegheny County, where Pittsburgh is located. Her economy message will drown that out which will help.

do not understand even basic economics and who don't know facts on how well the US economy has performed under Dem vs. Repub administrations. She has a strong record (and history) to run on and should tout it and her plans for the future, which most Americans who know them approve of.

Reaching and convincing MAGAts and racists is not the goal. The targets are those who honestly don't know the facts or who are may not otherwise vote.

...so, as just another American, I find voters singing this song completely unbelievable and they appear to be transparently looking for a reason to vote for Trump.

the economy even though the facts clearly show that is not true. Some of them believe that because inflation is higher now than it was when TFG was president, it must be true that he caused lower inflation.

Many believe that presidents have far more control over the economy than they do. Many have no clue about what the Federal Reserve does or how important it is in controlling inflation and that it is independent of the president and the congress.

Some lack a basic understanding of how prices are determined and the fact that concentration of economic power in some markets (e.g., by companies that control 50% or more of market share) is a huge factor (see Robert Reich for discussion of this).

These folks would benefit from a simple explanation of reality and facts. And the VP was giving it to them.
