Here's a great example I found on Steve Marmel's twitter. He headlined it Take a Knee, NYT Pitchbot. Because really, this is beyond parody.
Here is how the NYT reported on the "townhall" with few questions and a lot of cringy, bizarre swaying and standing:
And so Mr. Trump, a political candidate known for improvisational departures, made a detour. Rather than try to restart the political program, he seemed to decide in the moment that it would be more enjoyable for all concerned-- and, it appeared for
himself-- to just listen to music instead.
Mr. Trump had his staff fire up his playlist, standing on the stage for about half an hour and swaying to songs as his crowd slowly dwindled.
So, there you have it. The NYT somehow got into DonOld's mind to interpret his actions instead of simply reporting what he did. He was doing his famous "improvisational" performing, people! He's an artist! He can't be judged by the standards you would use to judge others!

(20,394 posts)when it comes to the NYT. But I do see some better coverage with other outlets, so let's hope that continues. I'd love to see Lawrence's take on this.

(11,935 posts)areas. Wrote the whole article and not a word about Trump and Vance's role in instigating the aholes threatening people. How do you write an article and fail to report on the reason people are being threatened?
