Yes, many people now get news from social media, but that doesn't mean the impact of traditional media...

...isn't still important. After all, where do people on social media get their info from?

Sadly, in too many case, the content is pure BS just pulled out of someone's ass.

But when it isn't that, where does content come from? In my experience many people on social media are simply repeating or discussing new that comes from TV news, newspapers, and news magazines.

Sure there are a few people who do original reporting who appear in social media, but that's not much of what's out there.

I'd suspect that if TV and "print" journalism weren't sanewashing Trump so much that many more people relying on social media for news would be getting the message of how crazy, unfit, and dangerous Trump is.
