He was the last GOP potus that was worth anything, imo. After him, that party went into a downhill slide that has reached a new low with Trump and hasn't yet shown any signs of reversing course.

been close to was Bush driving through Air base in Hawaii in 2005 at Christmas time few weeks after. My daughter was married to a officer and lived on base and was having her first baby. I stayed for a month. Did not go outside to look closer. But they drove right by her apartment building.

Time flies that baby just started college.

But I’m kinda hoping for a Big “BELATED” birthday present to Kamala, with a big white mansion in Washington DC getting gift-wrapped with a big red, white, & blue card saying “do not open til January 20th at noon!”
