Former KKK Leader David Duke Endorses Jill Stein

As the former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, David Duke has been the posterchild for racism, antisemitism and almost every other -ism in the United States for decades. While he's supported Donald Trump in each of the last two elections, he's changing to a new side ahead of next month's Presidential election. But he's not giving his endorsement to Kamala Harris.

On the latest episode of his podcast, Duke announced that he is endorsing Green Party candidate Jill Stein. Duke cited Stein's outspoken criticism of the United States' involvement in the Middle East conflict as a driving factor - and one that led to his breaking from a longstanding support of Trump.

"I endorse for president of the United States Green Party candidate, Dr. Jill Stein," Duke said. "Although Dr. Stein and I obviously have our differences on important issues, she’s the only candidate who speaks clearly against the war in the Middle East."

But while Duke may be throwing in his lot with Stein, Stein is flat-out refusing to accept his support.
