pub radiosegment today: Journalist interviewed MAGAs and summed up why Trump's anti Democratic statements dont faze them

his assignment is traveling around, attending Trump rallies. He reached out to rally goers of all types (MAGAs and rich/business type who attend Trump's speeches).

Why aren't they bothered about Trump's statements regarding using the apparatus of the US gov to go after enemies?

Summation of responses

1. "that's just Trump's bluster", "he really won't do it", "it's just how he talks"
2. We agree with him. Like what he's saying
3. He's been president before and his talk of retribution didn't come to pass
4. They simply don't care what Trump says.. they are sticking with him.
5. The apparatus of the US Gov has safe guards to prevent him from putting his plans into action

This is what happens after years of brainwashing by Fox News and fellow travelers. This just shows that "1984" totalitarianism can potentially be achieved by peaceful democratic means. Doublethink is clearly achievable. Gotta hope that Harris wins big and breaks Trump's spell.
