NYT reporter indicates it wasn't him that dropped the Palmer details

The NYT has rightly been criticized for not mentioning what Trump was really talking about with respect to Arnold Palmer.

This is the tweet showing a screen capture of what the reporter said about it.

Here is just the screen capture:

What matters most aren't the political leanings of reporters, but the leanings of their editors.

2. NYT still owned and operated by the same family that did so in the 1930s (and before)

but the 1930s particularly are germane because of how they covered the Nazis/Hitler and what they then said about their editorial choices/motives at the time. Same shit, different century.

That should be their headline. Trump has age related mental decline. His obesity doesn’t help matters.

I guess they now interpret the motto as Our Publisher and Editors will ProtectYou From the Truth as we Protect Fascist Would - be Dictators

Like Trump and MAGAs and some Supreme Court justices who want to take us back the NY Times has not been able to keep up with the times as the times have been a’changing.

The soul of Irony is a newspaper whose very motto reeks of censorship

The print copy I just got has the full unredacted story

Strange maybe the NYT re-edited the story.

The article which appears in your paper and its presumptive online counterpart is simply a different, later body of work from the thing in question.

the Arnold Palmer's junk riff either. However, many of the readers did quote what Trump said in the online commets to the story.
