I sure don't.
And do you think people attend rallies to help them decide, or are most of them basically there to cheer for their Candidate?
IMO, some of Dump's attendees are there just to see the freak show.

(13,063 posts)I like to re-read a Buzzfeed article:
Republicans Voting For Kamala Harris Over Donald Trump Are Sharing The Reasons Why, And This Makes So Much Sense

29 readers responded with their reasons.
It seems that the contradiction of a so-called Messiah appointed by Jesus himself, who behaves in the most deplorable and deranged manner is too much for minds to contain. But I wont second guess the switchers.
The undecided may indeed be reluctant switchers.

(3,125 posts)...that they did decide that Trump being impeached twice didnt disqualify him.
...that they did decide that Trumps handling of COVID, including lying about how serious and deadly it is, and manipulating health care supplies based on whether an area or a representative supported him, didnt disqualify him.
...that they decided helping lead an insurrection to overturn an election, all based on lies, does not disqualify him.
The author of the piece makes a good point. In spite all of the above (and what I couldn't excerpt - read the rest for yourself) it hasn't been enough for them to "DECIDE."
So, don't count on the so-called 'undecided.' This election, and the future of OUR DEMOCRACY is up to US.
GOTV!

(27,362 posts)Mostly extended family members and clients.
Some are life-long Republicans or libertarians/conservatives who won't vote for Trump but haven't yet convinced themselves that they can vote for Harris.
A few think "Washington" or "the government" is the problem and don't see stark differences (that seem obvious to us) between the two parties in that regard.
A couple are mostly apolitical but usually vote anyway. They're in the decide at the last minute camp.
None of them really fit into the nice, neat boxes into which we tend to throw them.
I think people remain undecided for myriad reasons, and I don't think we have a very good grasp on what those reasons might be. Nor do we really care. It's just easier to assume the worst.

(1,990 posts)They're not voting for Harris, they decided that. But they're undecided about voting for tfg, because they were going to vote for Kennedy. They'd decided not to vote for tfg, but when Kennedy endorsed tfg they were torn. They haven't decided to vote for him and there are 4 other presidential candidates on the NC ballot besides Harris and tRump. I think some of the "undecided" fall into this category. Most will end up voting for tfg, but I'm hoping these 2 folks will decide to vote for a 3rd party candidate if they can't bring themselves to vote for Kamala, I'd prefer their vote not go to tfg.
Again, to clarify, i think that most undecided voters are undecided about whether or not they're voting for tfg. It's not that they can't decide between Harris and tRump.

(48,188 posts)So yeah, I know some undecided voters.
They think it makes them sound thoughtful and fair. But it doesnt. It makes it sound like the test is tomorrow, so now theyre going to see what this algebra stuff is all about.

(3,576 posts)They are extremely uninvolved in politics. It's not that they can't decide between Kamala and Don Old, it's that they can't decide between voting or not voting.

(21,794 posts)Down ballot stuff doesn't get national news anymore. Information is hard to find. A lot of people don't even look at the local stuff until it is time to sit down and figure out their vote.
They dislike both candidates and are leaning toward Bobby Kennedy or skipping the presidential vote but will vote down ballot.
