Donald Trump on Monday told a crowd of fans on Monday that US politics should to back to the way they are in the 1700s.

"I will invoke the alien enemy act of 1798. Think of that. 1798. That's when we had real politicians that said we're not gonna play games."

Walter Kimbrough replied: "Share this with your Black friends who understand history. Heck even share with the ones who forget they’re Black and ask them about 1798…"

Journalist Ahmed Baba commented: This is why We’re Not Going Back is the perfect answer to Make America Great Again. We know what kind of America Trump would like to force us back to. Voters now have an opportunity to definitively decide that we’re moving forward.

Exactly. Should be a newsflash I think, for all my fellow Black folk, who STILL don't know EXACTLY what Trump and MAGA ARE ALL ABOUT.

Whether it's 1950, 1835, or 1798, Trump sees the past through white-colored glasses which neutralize all undesirable people -- whether they are of color, or "inferior" genetics, or just plain don't fit with his perception of who should be near him. That's the secret of MAGA: It hearkens to any era in which "undesirables" can be eradicated.

Like "The Leopards Eating People's Faces Party," MAGA will devour its own, no matter how immaculate a MAGAt's credentials may be. It's not the inclusionary traits which matter; all which makes sense to the "tribe" is what excludes.

I'd wish 'em luck with it but, if successful, they'll learn eventually what they truly need to know today.
