When I went to vote last night, some lady in line was wearing one of those MAGA hats on and no one said anything. What was shocking to me was that she was a young, Black woman, I was like WTF!

There is a young black woman who is republican and is voting for Trump. I don't get why any person of color would vote republican or any person for that matter.

I already voted Monday. So I sat with the fine folks in the Harris/Walz tent. Almost everyone who walked by smiled, waved, or some other positive reaction. Only a couple people walked by who just seemed to avoid eye contact.

So we’re down to one more family member who hasn’t voted. She gets home normally after 5:00. But she already has it set u to get off early Friday. 7 votes down 1 to go.

Edit: Her first time voting.

Edit 2: I voted in deep red Montgomery County Willis, Texas.

Edit 3: My granddaughter told me the guy who was handing out a tfg flyer told her democrats were supposed to vote tomorrow. She just told him to get away.

She is very excited about Kamala & she took voting itself very seriously. She RESEARCHED each & every position down to the local drainage districts (this is Texas). It made me feel guilty for the times I skip a primary or something. These young people are into it and they just might save our country.

** odd tidbit - one of the things she told me in the car was that she was really glad that "Walz is back". She was very excited that he went after Elon Musk because he had been "calmer" lately & she thought that was "dumb". She thinks they should let Tim be himself!
