Not that it will affect the outcome up here

But the missus and I just cast two for Harris/Waltz and Mary Peltola.

Felt for the poor librarian, (that’s our polling place) who was frazzled by the sheer numbers that have done this since Monday when it began.

If enough of us vote we will win.

We were there for maybe fifteen minutes from start to finish. Wednesday afternoon, really horrible conditions (ice, I fell on my ass walking the dogs in my sneakers this morning. Stupid!) and there was always a line of one or two people waiting to vote. The entire time I was there. Maybe 4 of us filling out the paperwork to get your ballot.

So I look around, and try to guess who my allies are in the room. It’s tough. A couple of vets were there, a couple of women in their 60s, and my wife and I Can’t tell how people are voting by how they look, but this is a blue dot in the red state.

I’d love no more astonished feeling than awakening on Wednesday to find my states paltry 3 electoral votes go to Harris. Not gonna happen, but it’s still fun to think about from time to time.

While I know how they identify the trends up here I also know that there’s a ton of us up here who identify as “undecided”. I wonder how many of those sent in their votes early?
