learned about it today; she was mother of 3 boys we shared a 'baby'sitter with, so she (and whole family) was close to my family for many of my daughters' young years; the boys were like brothers to my daughters, and we're all grieving now. ('Kids' adults now, and don't live nearby. Very sad, and thinking of her, our friend, fondly.)

You can only try to honor your lost beloveds by living well and doing things that honor them. That keep their influence in the world.

I hope her passing was as easy as it could be for all, and her children will have plenty of memories of her.

Her passing was sudden, apparently shortly after surgery while she was recovering, and had been out shopping with one of the boys the day before.

Will learn more, I'm sure, and the boys (and we) have MANY memories. AND just learned, there's a new baby, one of the boys married couple years ago (I attended reception/party,) had a boy baby 2-3 yas ago, and a new little girl now; not many girls in the family, and I'm sure our friend was thrilled about that.)

(You might know about my health, yet the miracle of my daughter surviving and having a beautiful baby girl. Stinky is overjoyed.)

I think he’s trying to be “tough” and it works in her favor when she hands it back to him.

Overall her strategy, competence, and not getting trapped in the weeds is admirable.
