The Double Standard is well past insane.

Right now we are being careful to warn each other not to get too excited about the video about to come out that shows t***p groping a child. We have a few more reasons not to get excited. Conservatives are used to blaming little girls for their hideous sins. Blaming the victim is their first reaction and the majority will happily make it their cause.
Another reason is because conservatives are always happy to jump on a mistake and use it to declare everything ever done by any liberal wrong.
T***p used to walk into little girls dressing rooms when he was tight with Epstein and ran the Teen USA beauty pageant. Wonder what the connection there is. He "joked" about competitors having to sleep with him. So his possible grope film doesn't seem unlikely. But just about everyone knew about that until he ran for office and some folk rewrote their memory.

T***p can make stuff up, be exposed and it's nothing. His lies are evil, hurt people and yet it all gets a pass. His followers can spout any nonsense and be shown as idiots and it's nothing. They can spout Q nonsense that is insane and evil, but let a person stand up against violent racists and they are Antifa terrorists. A Republican gets on a talk show and endangers innocents with lies, talk treason, nonsense, hate, and again it is nothing. People out there ask if Nazis are liberal and the question is taken seriously. They can't apparently link violent racism with violent racism and see the real answer reveal itself. Republicans can watch as Nazis march along beside them and nothing. On Fox news every newscaster is expected to lie, lie, fabricate, edit tapes to a lie and keep to a script of phony facts.

All the violence on January 6 was blamed on evil Antifa infiltrators, until the people filmed doing the violence started going to jail. Then their whole message changed. They knew it was wrong, and then they decided it was right. If you look at the record for Conservatives, or MAGA or Republican or Libertarian, the lies are spread so thick it is hard to find a real fact among them. But they are always looking for one error on our side to blast us with.

If we get some little fact wrong, even if the fact is correct but the form is off, like Dan Rather, we are expected to die on our own sword. We might even help with the sword. We turn on our own in spite of the other side only turning on their own after one of them has turned on their own. Even with some sketchy allegations we put Al Franken out to dry. Republicans only turn on Republicans if the do something like stand up for the rule of law and defend the constitution.
