Migrants falsely accused by Marsha Blackburn of post-Helene looting were checking on property at owner's request




"WASHINGTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The man who employs the eight men who were accused of looting in Washington County, Tennessee after flooding has testified that he sent them to his property to survey the damage.

On Sept. 28, eight men were arrested in the Corby Bridge area, where flooding from Hurricane Helene had seriously damaged structures. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) previously reported the men were arrested for looting in the flood zone and each was placed on a $20,000 bond.

The affidavits, each penned by one of two WCSO deputies, state the sheriff’s office was called to the 1700 block of Corby Bridge Road shortly after 3 p.m. after a 911 caller claimed a group of “Hispanic males” (as described in some of the affidavits) was breaking into houses that had been damaged in the floods."...(more)

says the men were acting legally on his request, so what's their crime? Being Hispanic?
