Harris Up By 3 Points In TIPP Daily Tracking Poll

I know this poll leans toward Trump. And there are aspects that make me skeptical, such as one- and two-point movement per day.

Having said all that, the trend line in this poll has moved 5 points toward Harris in 4 days.

I point this out to demonstrate that all the polls are not discouraging and that this election is on a knife's edge.

https://www.racetothewh.com/president/2024 We all know the assignment, vote, volunteer, donate, but we are only human, and it’s hard not to check the polls even if we get they’re probably wrong. But I just can’t do 538, so this is better for my mental health and Ann Selzer recommends it.

interferes with anyone's ability to vote or work on a campaign.

If polls were unimportant, campaigns wouldn't spend tens of millions of dollars on them to develop strategy, target issues, decide where to campaign and which voters to target.

But anyway, thank you for reminding me to vote. If you hadn't, I may have forgotten.

... their votes mean nothing and gel that mistake with polls.

Polls were always an internal thing with campaigns to devise and revise campaign strategy. They used to be classified info in a campaign. Now they are used for what? What does a poll do for you? If it shows TFG is winning, does it mean that Harris should pivot a little?

What do polls do for you?

There is a real possibility of a fascist takeover
there with an inevitable, linked, Weimar Republic vibe. And retribution is being quite clearly threatened for dissidents in the event of a Trump restoration.
If some anonymous pollster contacted me I would be very wary of expressing a pro-Harris sympathy.
