Arizona law enforcement officials are conducting an arson investigation after election ballots were damaged when a USPS mail collection box was burned in Maricopa County, a Democratic stronghold.
ABC 15 reported that crews responded to the USPS Osborn Station around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday and found a mail collection box on fire.
"Approximately 20 electoral ballots were damaged, along with additional miscellaneous mail," Phoenix Fire Department officials revealed, according to ABC 15.
Phoenix Fire Department's Arson Investigation Taskforce launched an investigation into the fire.

(13,126 posts)They discuss all this domestic terrorism on "free speech" forums.
I hope that DHS and FBI are monitoring, even if that pisses off Generalissimo Musk.

Not every state is going to do this, of course.

My CA location is "only" a half mile high.
Water boils at 207 ℉ and not 212.
A damn nuisance for pasta lovers!

What if the Jan 6 coup had been successful?

(32,387 posts)What good will catching them after they do it do, the election will be stolen by then and they will all be turned into heroes.
Democratic ballots all over the nation could be destroyed before they are counted and there wont be time for them to vote again it would take forever to figure out who ballot was destroyed etc. yet the end its the end motherfuckers🎉🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
But every time someone like me would warn about this or say we better be prepared or let it be known that we will not fucking stand for it I am attacked for being doom doom doom🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

(32,387 posts)They are betting we will do what we have always done, get angry and carry protest signs. But now Donald Trump will have us shot if we carry protest signs.
Those of us who said we need to now make it known that our response will not be carrying fucking protest or this is going to happen🪧

(23,725 posts)Hopefully, there is enough info on the unburnt bits to identify the voters and let them know to get their ballots cancelled and re-issued.
Otherwise, widely publicize the location of the mail box and the time of the fire, so voters can figure out if their ballots are likely destroyed.
I put my ballot in the box outside of city hall, then checked my state's voting site so I know it was received by the clerk. If I had to mail it, I'd use a mail slot inside the post office building, not a box on a street. Same applies to any mail that contains a check. Mail it securely.

I go straight to the county clerk's office, but this is a small town. One 4-way stop and no traffic lights.
