Sen. JD Vance said Monday that while he hadn't heard the racist jokes made by a comedian at his running mate's New York City rally the previous night, he thinks Americans need to "stop getting so offended."
"Im just Im so over it," Vance said after an NBC News reporter asked about the inflammatory remarks about Latinos and others by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, the first speaker at former President Donald Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.
Vance doubled down when asked again about the racist comedy set following his speech Monday night in the southeastern Wisconsin town of Racine.
A comedian told a joke, and I dont think thats news worth making, Vance told a local reporter.
Maybe Im old fashioned, or maybe I just grew up with a grandmother who had an especially foul mouth. But you know what I do? You know what I do when I think a joke is dumb or not funny? I dont laugh, Vance continued.

(19,380 posts)He was saying jokes to Kevin Hart which were very racist. We need to ban comedians who do this type of jokes as a country. Maybe congress should get off their butts and pass a law.

(49,333 posts)On April 4, 2007, during an on-air discussion about the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship, Imus characterized the largely black Rutgers University women's basketball team as "rough girls" in a comment on the players' tattoos. His executive producer Bernard McGuirk responded by referring to them as "hardcore hos". The discussion continued with Imus describing the women as "nappy-headed hos"[50][51] and McGuirk remarking that the two teams looked like the "jigaboos versus the wannabes" as mentioned in Spike Lee's film School Daze, apparently referring to the two teams' differing appearances.[52][53]
In the immediate aftermath of the remarks, public outrage was directed at Imus and WFAN. Howard Stern discussed how he had heard Imus make racist comments that were directed at a black female co-worker while the two were working at WNBC. Management was aware of the comments at the time but had done nothing. Stern's co-host Robin Quivers confirmed that assertion and added that she had once been the target of Imus's racist remarks herself.[54] Imus dismissed the controversy at first, calling the incident "some idiot comment meant to be amusing".[55] He also stated that "nappy-headed hos" is a term that rap artists use to refer to black women.[56]

He's simply not vice presidential material, he will be a heartbeat from the presidency if God forbid they win and he's acting all nonchalantly. Soulless couch humping druggie baby creature.
