Observations: The claims of "Fake News, Witch Hunt, Fight Like Hell or You're not going to have a country anymore,

poisoning the blood, and now the enemy within" (many others but that summarizes the last 9 years somewhat adequately) have solidified a cult of 80 million??
We know it is total projection, gas lighting, just plain weird, and full on nuts. Orange Julius has a two guiding lights. 1) Stay out of prison and 2) He really wants to be a dictator. 3) He really wants to create a Russian style oligarchy system and a Hitler/Mussolini legal system. Everything else is secondary.
There will be an unprecedented assault on our system and we now know most "guardrails" have been driven through.
I feel somewhat confident that we will get through this with a Harris/Walz win, but the backlash, family schisms and enduring hatred will sadly endure.
I feel like we could be in U.S. circa 1859-60, or Germany in 1930's. I worry about Nancy and Adam, Rachel and all of MSNBC, but mostly I am concerned that we have been divided for the long term by a RAPIST, CONVICTED FELON, criminal MOB BOSS, compulsive LIAR and Sociopathic, demented demagogue akin to Hitler, Putin, Xi, Kim, Orban et al.
Talk me down here DU. Many will say I'm over-reacting; it will be fine, etc. I sincerely hope so but the violence and SCOTUS interjecting into this election has me on edge.
