Something is happening.

I’m writing to you from Port Aransas, a small tourist town on a barrier island off the Texas coast that was tfg + 30 in 2020.

A local owner, historically very maga, of two adjacent businesses got in to a bit of a flag battle with another business next door that started flying Harris flags about 2 months ago.
The maga owner started putting up more and more flags and signs to compete. Then, about a month ago, she put up 12 custom printed signs that she had printed just for her two businesses. They read something like (name of business) supports trump/vance for president 2024. I haven’t seen someone print custom signs before so it was very noticeable.

Driving by her two shops this morning, all tfg signs and flags are completely gone from both businesses. Gone. Gone just 4 days before the election. Only an American flag remains.

What happened? Did she change her mind? She owns these properties and I can’t think of any reason she would do this unless she was bailing from maga.

I’m going to visit her boutique later today and see if she still has orange menace merchandise for sale in there.

Trying to get people in. It’s not spring break but it is a time when a fair amount of people go there. Put off about half of the tourists going there would be stupid. She may have already seen a hit on sales.

Business traffic declined inversely to the increase in Donny signs. I hold out little hope that most magats will ever see the light. Luckily, many are older and have atrocious habits impacting their health. Nature will rid us of them soon enough.
