The New York Times today with a full page fold out editorial that calls on Americans to 'Vote to End the Trump Era.' (Original Post) demmiblue Nov 3 OP

I mean, they've been all over the place, as Stephanie Miller calls it, the Polliecoaster. Hard to believe it is that up and down and inconsistent, and bent on making the same mistakes they made in 2022.

It looks like an advertisement to me.

I can't make out the fine print under the paragraph. Even at full magnification, I can't read it......ok I went to the link in the comments and was able to read it.

I don't trust NYT. Seems fishy to me. I think they realize Kamala will win and are trying, in their both sideism but really right wing way, to court favor with her and her administration.

I suppose it was a "counter" to the WaPo mess.

Just do a search on "NYT" and enjoy.

Let's put this under the rubric of "far too late, far too little."

We'll win with or without them. They've worked hard to become irrelevant.

...made sure I let them know, when I canceled, that I was doing so because they had published an article - not an opinion piece - saying how tall and handsome Trump was and how decrepit Biden looked.

I felt very much that the person on the other end of the phone when I called my cancellation in, kind of agreed with me, an employee, not an editor.

This kind of stuff is easier to do once it's become clear, especially to those that are in the know like them, to NOW come out in favor of VP Harris now that it's safe to do so because you know he will not actually become president.
Fair weather friends but will ditch you the moment times get tough.

They have been complicit in propping up Trump over the last 8 years, more interested in selling drama than reporting on a fascist honestly.

And can't outright say we can save democracy and support decency by voting FOR Kamala and Tim?

The NYT, and every other news outlet, should post side-by-side resumes of the MAGA man and Kamala, showing both personal and professional traits and accomplishments. And the last line would be: "Any questions? The only and obvious answer: Vote Harris/Walz."

I'm sure there are some more sane-washers but she's by far the most prominent. She can go write for The Washington Times and cover the next foul smelling rising star of the repuke Party.

I've already voted to end the Trump era (much as I would regard that as rather a misnomer - Trump is the manifestation of the problem rather than its root). I really wish I could vote to end the New York Times era as well.

Thanks for sharing this, demmiblue.
