I was so excited about Shirley Chisholm. I checked out the only biography about her from the school library over and over again till the librarian told me I needed to the let the other kids have a chance. Her story resonated with me, that a woman could run for congress and then run to be president of the United States! I'm so sorry she's not here to see VP Harris win.
