There may be some reactionary white dudes in there -- but as my sons (18 & 23) say , the idea that TFG and his court would look to undo rights that they think are "duh obvious" [because they are like duh obvious ( gays can marry, abortion is OK< it's not OK to discriminate for gender, sexual identity, trans status etc) ] will lead young people to vote for democrats even if they are upset over how Gaza is being handled or whatever is the current grievance (they keep saying that Biden/Harris are antiMuslim because they haven't stopped the war in GAza). They will not let perfection be the enemy of the good because they know they have two choices -- The felon or the prosecutor that gave overly harsh sentences in California (seriously, they told me they think she was borderline Nazi with how harsh her sentencing was to brown people as DA and AG in Cali).

My generation (Gen X) may have thrown away votes in 2016 that led to the felon winning, but they see TFG and his allies as an existential threat to every girl, gay friend or relative, trans friend or acquaintance.

WE ARE NOT GOING BACK to the 1790's anti immigrant laws or the 1870's anti-sex laws.

It’s old style absentee ballot that you apply for. MOST people don’t do it, except older folks. So disregard PA.

You have got to go to the county seat courthouse to early vote in PA. And hours are very limited In my case, Butler County, it’s a 45 minute for many to Butler city. BTW where Trump was ‘shot’. No way young people are driving there.

I’m 78 with no children. So short of my self and a short life time span I personally don’t have a large stake. Except for what I believe I owe the future. These young are going to have to actually live the results of this election. That’s huge. It’s no wonder they are coming out to vote.

raised up in quirky ‘charter schools’ heavy on fundamentalist ideologies and conservative politics, but way short on critical thinking skills and personal development skills. In short ‘sheeple’ finding virtue and personal validation in alliance to the cause of Trumpism, the kind of kids who can see themselves marching in khakis and polo shirts, gleefully jeering the vanquished libtards.

We better not lose.
