(15 posts)Your life isn't being judged, you are awesome and this isn't about you.
It's about Sheila, an undecided who thinks T**** will lower the prices on Cheez-its.
This is Idiocracy - dumb people suck. You rock!

(12,298 posts)...Hopefully things turn around quickly, but I had much higher hopes for NC and GA.

(5,019 posts)I used to love being able to blame the EC, but that wasn't the problem this time.

(5,052 posts)It was shown for a while that NC has a better chance to turn blue than GA.
Good news is, we don't need GA or NC to win. If we win any of them, it means an early night and TFG would have a very narrow path to win.
Our most direct path is WI, MI and PA. The rest are cherry on top.

(1,344 posts)I really convinced myself we would have this in the bag. I was nervous, of course, but I really hoped she would cut into the margins in the rural areas, and the opposite is happening.
Im still hopeful, but Im pretty freaked out.

(2,528 posts)Reading how he has state after state after state. Who are these idiots voting to turn America into a dictatorship? We know they are stupid, but this is hard to believe.
It's starting to feel like 2016 all over again.
It's not going to be trump in the WH. They will 25th him out before he has his bags unpacked. It will be President Vance, who is far, far worse. And the morons trumpers have no idea who they are really voting for.
UNBELIEVABLE what we are seeing in early returns. The night is young...lets see what the west coast says.

(8,570 posts)And the blue areas that have basically fully reported (>95%), they are bluer than they were in 2020 by four to six points -- see here: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2024/11/05/us/elections/results-president.html
The story is that red areas are redder and blue areas are bluer. It will be close, just like it was in 2020.

Not enough cats or alcohol in my house to calm me down.
I refuse to watch the news and real--time results.
This entire campaign season has gone on for so long, and I am so tired of the rancor and bile, I'll just be glad that it's over regardless of the outcome. It'll be a relief to talk about something besides this for a change. The last thing I need is to sit around chewing on my fingernails all night.
I'm seeing snippets here and there, but just in between watching a Netflix movie and whiskey sour

(5,657 posts)It's not lost yet, of course, but I certainly had higher hopes for tonight than are shaping up.
For all the bitching about the polls, it's looking like the race is pretty much just as close as the polls were saying, even if so many here didn't want to believe the polls and/or thought they were are rigged or fake numbers to boost ratings.
