Deportation, tariffs (and the inflation and economic contraction that follows), the near-collapse of truly Blind justice, all of it is about to come crashing down on their fucking empty heads, and this time, there will be no Covid to deflect blame off their beloved god-emperor...it will be absolutely and OBVIOUSLY his fault.
And then the screaming will start--'but I don't understand how America and it's glorious Capitalism can't arrest that crook, or serve my food, or clean my hotel room, or defend Europe, and what do you MEAN I have to cut my own fucking lawn I'm supposed to have someone I can PAY to do that FOR my rich pasty-white Republican ass and oh my god where did this leopard come from please please PLEASE SOMEONE GET IT OFF OF MY FACE FOR THE LOVE OF WHITE JESUS...'
Suffer, you ignorant pricks, because the rest of us TOLD YOU, again and again and yet AGAIN it was a face-eating leopard that wasn't gonna care who's face it was, and you for some Alex Jones-inspired reason thought 'well, sure, but surely not ever MY FACE...'
Yeah, your face too, asshole. And no, I'm not inclined to help you with that just yet.
Suffer.
Beg more, motherfucker.
Pain is, and has always only been, the only teacher they understand. And maybe after the leopard isn't hungry anymore, you'll figure out why the rest of us voted for national healthcare that covered eaten faces, you dumb fucks.

It’s because the 40 hour workweek is on the chopping block. Overtime will no longer exist as we know it, so there’s nothing to remove taxes from. It’s just more work at the same hourly wage until employees’ bodies are destroyed.

(7,794 posts)Our rumor-mill-media is similarly reliability challenged. There are none in the system who would profit from revelations, no matter how factual, which impugn their credibility. Go figure.
I think the best IT minds of at least one enemy state have been on this for several years. They've honed their subterfuge skills over multiple US electoral contests to attack and corrupt our system at every point of weakness, this, in alliance with the leadership of the Republican party. Given that, how in hell can there be a reasonable argument when all contentions are based on media-produced assertions and supported by media-produced evidence, the basis for which defies credibility?
As silly as it sounds, we must resort to our own common sense based on experience over time. We are being told from many points of view and in many scenarios how blocks of (use a demographic term) do not, in fact, vote as a unit. But here we jump and salivate when some entity rep. dangles a pre-packaged, self-serving baited hook that posits, "these people have uniformly accepted a new and enlightened attitude because (insert Republican talking point)". This old song-and-dance is growing tiresome, folks. Almost as tiresome as good people falling for it over and over.

My millennial daughter is crying today and leaning on her mom friends for support. She was told to get over it, it's just like any other election, one side loses and it will go back the next time. So I will enjoy the suffering. I will enjoy watching them drive their 100k pick up truck with the 1k car payment getting 16 mpg to work at the factory with no overtime pay. We are in for a world of pain and they have no idea that means them too.

Plus, as the stresses from climate change -- food and water shortages, environmental disasters, increased numbers of climate refugees -- exacerbate, then people more strongly gravitate toward authoritarianism. Reduce resources and desperation creates strongman rule. It has been the case over most of human history.
