There is still a path I see best case if we get all the light blue from AP last night we might go to a 1 or 2 seat tenuous majority. Why are we conceding after all this money spent and the bomb threats at crucial polling and tabulating sites are already confirmed to have been Russian sourced. The wealthy are a big club and we aren't in it.

I can only handle so much negativity right now. I'm neither optimistic nor pessimistic; I'm just trying to keep my feet under me, and the last thing I need is an onslaught of gloom and doom.

will create. They do not have any idea at all in how to govern. They do not even know how to get a speaker or a majority leader in the senate. How in the hell can they pass any bills?

I hope the Democrats to not vote with them on anything since they will control the house, senate, the executive and the Supreme Court. Let them be responsible for a change. Let them holler "We would have passed a budget if the Democrats had just voted.

deal with any of the messes they have created?

It's always the Democrats who have to clean it up.

What I fear is that they will leave such a scorched
earth that cleaning up will be practically impossible.

We are in some very serious trouble right now, and
it's going to be so bad that we may never recover
from it.

Well, that's pretty pessimistic, but that's how I see
it right now.

When things start happening like $10 eggs. And no vegetables, and Burgers at $20 because of a Tarrif on S. American beef.

And no Democrat in any position to do anything.( and I hope the Democrats in congress do not lift a finger or vote for a single Republican bill, even if it is to fund the government) People will indeed notice

If the Democrats do this, things might change when the old (me) don not have anything to eat because food is too expensive. The young can not go to school because they can not afford the private schools..

They will notice

And Democrats should absolutely not vote for any Republican priorities. No political price to pay for that - if Republicans control all of government, failure to get anything done is completely on them.

They saw huge movement of Latinos into their camp, as well as a larger percentage of black men than usual. And they’ve got about half of young people as Gen Z guys are “bro-wingers” who voted for Trump. We’ve got to do something to stave off more of this and recapture some voters. How we do it, I don’t know.
