Trump is the president-elect. He won.

But I want nothing to do with those who normalize him. He is an aberration, as much as Mussolini, Hitler, and Tojo were. They also had the support of their people as long as they were winning. Purging the military of so called "woke generals", threatening to imprision your political opponents, and putting undocumented immigrants in concentration camps is not normal. If you want to normalize aberrant behavior that is your prerogative, it's not mine.

extend an invitation to the White House. Why normalize his behavior? Biden has already shown he’s better than Trump in many ways, and he doesn’t need to prove that. After all, who would invite a figure like Hitler to the White House?

And because there (so far) is no indication of enough electoral shenanigans to overturn the election, he will turn over his position as tradition will have it.
He doesn't have to agree with it or like it, but the outcome was determined by our "Fellow Americans" who showed up -or didn't show up - to Vote.

This isn't a movie. Biden has to live in Reality, and he will do so in accordance with his ethical outlook.

I don't criticize him even though I'm unhappy with the outcome and understands what lies ahead.

Joseph Robinette Biden is who he is. He's done an outstanding job - the best he could. But there's no way to re-write a script and change the character of a human being into some sort of Superhero that can right the immediate wrongs in two and a half hours while we sit back with our popcorn and drink.

Living as a thriving community is hard work. Trying to maintain or better a community is thankless work.

They are all traitors.

Then we can have normal conversations and disagree on things and hold elections.

Also, arrest the SCOTUS.

We cannot play nice any more... we tried that. It isn't working. When they go low... we go high? How is that working out for you? Tulsi fucking Garbage as DNI... she is a wholly owned asset of Russia. Trump might be just a useful idiot. But Tulsi?

Do you even KNOW how many agents she will get killed a day after her Senate confirmation. What Putin didn't get before now he will get on Jan 21.

No one will ever trust us to keep their identity a secret anymore. The rest of the security agencies will never share anything with the CIA. Not even any suspected terrorists because Tulsi will run to her true masters and tell them HOW the British found the guy that wants to be the next Bin Laden. We are so fucked.

We have reached the actual "hair on fire" moment.

But many of us are like "well, lets figure out that we either didn't do one more policy speech or interview with Joe fucking idiot Rogan...or we should have pushed trans people under the bus or immigrants or something. We should have agreed that Haitians are eating our cats and dogs because of voodoo.

This isn't a fight between left and far right.. it is a fight between barking mad morons and the rest of us.

What was acceptable about a convicted felon with additional serious indictments being permitted to even run for president? And who would vote for someone like that???

Suggested answers to the second question:

1. Radical religious fundamentalists whose acceptance of religious dogma trumps everything else.

2. Racists.

3. Voters whose BS sensors are totally dysfunctional.

4. Sociopaths who readily identify with another sociopath.

5. Lazy fools who refused to figure out what is true and what is not true.

DJT is a known liar and a cheat. Russia helped him capture the 2016 electoral college win. Trump colluded with Putin and cheated like the known cheat he is.

Remember Bob Mueller and things he uncovered with regard to Russia and various Russian Oligarchs.

Paul Manafort -- who chaired the Trump presidential campaign from June to August 2016 -- went to jail. For working with the Russians, or something like that. FARA violations...witness intimidation.

The 2024 "win" was not really a win, but a steal by the asshole. With assists from Putin and Israel. And who knows who else.

An aside: Racism and hatred of women likely added to the asshole's vote count. And misinformation/right wing propaganda. (Remember Cambridge Analytica) Also the white male effect described in the following article:

A sizable percentage of the deplorables who voted for Trump did so solely "to own the libs". Trump was their stick-in-your-eye, cruelty-is-the-point, yuk-yuk-yuk "my team won!" response to the question "Which Way Forward, America?"

They voted in a neo-fascist performance artist to amuse themselves and amaze their friends, forgetting that politics is a bruising bloodsport with real-world consequences. Many will rue the day they pulled the lever for this narcissitic con man /grifter. And deny they ever did so.

"First, they came for the trade unionists . . ."

Cue economic and moral horrors starting in five, four, three . . .

In the 1920 a slick talking psychopathic liar and sexual deviant came this close to taking over America. His approach...HATE! His platform the newly rebuilt KKK. But he took to greater heights than it had ever been before. And he did it in the Heartland of America. His plan was simple. Go to where Americans were concerned about immigration. And non-whites were beginning to move in. Along with non-Protestant people. He was able to get over 6 million new members throughout the midlands of America to join. those that join did so, because for the most part, they just wanted to join the fight to save America. They weren't sure what they were saving from, but they wanted to. D.C. Stephenson was the Grand Dragon's name and before his downfall, he owned the government of the state of Indiana. He turned the Republican Party into the official party of the KKK. Just as tRump has turned today's Republican Party into the official party of the MAGA's. Their ideas are not that different than the 1920's KKK. Anti-immigration. Pro-Family. Pro-Protestant. Pro-Life.
Only this time, they are now within the reach of their goals.
But they haven't reached then yet. They will overreach, and with our help, they will fail!
