This is a loyalty test. Trump wants to know, early on,

who is with him and who is not. If they don't stop him now, it will never happen.
They have rarely displayed any courage as a whole. Don't expect them to have it now.
Look at the list and prepare.
Lot of militaristic minds in the game. Orders followers in the churches and in trumper land.

choices. You can count on the next batter up to be a test as well.
They didn't stop him when they could because they liked the power of their position. They fight for power, not the citizen. It is their scorpion nature.
