Gaetz's father represented parts of northwest Florida as a member of the Florida State Senate from 2006 to 2016, and was Senate president from 2012 to 2014.

1. There are two Americas, one for the rich, powerful and protected, and one for the rest of us. In the first America, rich powerful people are never indicted, or tried, and if an indictment does get misplaced, there is always someone like Merrick Garland to make sure it never sees the light of day.

2. It was a sex crime and this country is ok with whatever men decide to do with their dicks.
