Hi Guys,
Meet James Duane, below is his talk at the Cato Institute and his book!
If you saw my previous post, (titled The Best Legal Advice You Can Get...and its Free! - Part I) you know this is good stuff! It contains information, examples, weird court cases, humor, a presentation from a cop...etc.
BTW, the don't talk to the police advice does NOT apply when you get pulled over for a potential ticket. During those conversations the officer has discretion about whether or not to issue a ticket. He has some advice in that category as well. However, innocent people get convicted of crimes on an ongoing basis, and occasionally the "justice system" even executes someone where there is a very strong case that they are innocent!
So check out this video and the link to his book. I haven't looked at the book yet, but I'm sure it is going to be worth reading.
Also, during the days, months, and years ahead when protests spring up, please forward these videos and links to the appropriate people. You may save an innocent person from rotting in jail for a decade or more.

I wonder why the libertarians are supporting him?

Ive seen this guys lecture and he is 100% correct about talking to cops.
Edit to add: libertarians like this type of theory because cops are only supposed to be used against minorities and political opponents. Everyone else should not suffer the consequences of the law.
Most of the auditors and cop watchers on YouTube are disaffected right wingers. Ive literally seen them blaming all these police abuses starting under Obama.
