Is Matt Gaetz a Diversion?

Idk if I’m spelling his name right??? But really I don’t care.
I just wonder if his nomination is meant to fail? I feel like this serves several purposes.
1.) Loyalty test. Do something that is so outrageous to see who is truly loyal to you.
2.) If/When he fails to move forward… then trump will concede to put up someone more “moderate” like Aileen Cannon??? And then they’ll argue, “see he’s willing to be more reasonable”. When we attack her nomination, the narrative is Dems are just obstructionists.

Keeps everyone jumping. He's been throwing everything at the fan for years. Can't focus on anything when you try to focus on everything. Shiniest freaky thing right now is gaetz. So we can't focus on the other terrible stuff. Gaetz is a joke. The more competent evil people are the ones to freak out over.

It's not in the best interest of the country.

Trump is just being a punk, in the stupidest, most obnoxious sense. And he thrives on the chatter and chaos that results.

I haven’t given it the depth of thought as you have. It wears me out to try to analyze his motives. I think that’s his process. Always keep the opposition on edge. Eventually the opposition will give in.

Republicans found a way to get him to resign his seat, then refuse to confirm him as AG.

prior to the election, as I recall. I'm not sure how much of this is some sort of diversion, or how much of it is just him playing his usual chaos gamesl. For all we know, he's just dicking around his own sycophants in some sort of sadistic loyalty test.

Everything that matters is controlled by the American Oligarchs. They want loyalty. Trump is picking the most loyal in his group. So it's part diversion and party a madman puppet, making sure he has people he can count on.

Room when Trump decided. Trump is being managed, but he will Trump when no one is around. Gaetz played Trump when no one was around.

Trump is truly this stupid.

By that I mean he puts out a constant stream of controversial or flat out bizarre statements and actions and while the media or his opponents are trying to bring light to one of them a half dozen more have happened since. It's a game of catch up that is never caught up.

We saw in 2016 and from 2021-24 on that there is so much that the average person just gives up in trying to follow it all and figure out what it means.
