Commentary: I am a Mexican American who voted for Trump. No, I don't hate myself

I post this for educational purposes. Why the HELL the Chicago Trib printed it, I don't know - maybe trying to curry favor with the orange bastard.

Some will probably check me for posting right wing talking points, but this commentary tells us all we need to know about the intellect and ignorance of trump voters. Pay special attention to the language used and talking points, including Hillary Clinton's 2:00am call, and campaigns that are built on "a foundation of misleading airs and fake vibes." as well as setting his undocumented relatives who have been in the U.S. for 20 years against migrants who "skip the line" (didn't his undocumented relatives 'skip the line?'). Anyway, these are the ignoramuses we're up against. Oh and also he apparently ticks the boxes: He's Mexican and part of the LGBTQ+ community. So he MUST have cred, right?:

1. In a nutshell, he felt closer to the Republican's racist agenda, than he did to Democrats.

Well, be sure to spend time with those undocumented relatives of yours.

What has to happen is that he will have to ride the Republican party until he finds himself in the ashes to understand that he focused on the wrong things.

"Voting for Donald Trump does not make me racist, sexist, misogynistic, homophobic or any other “ist” and “ic” I’ve been called"

He forgot "ish" as in selfish. Smh.

And above all “politics.” That’s what I’ve found at least.

And “taking their jobs”. I shit you not. It left me speechless. I had not heard that one.

11. Does he know that Stephen Miller wants to revoke his citizenship and send him back to Mexico?

Even though he was born here to undocumented parents, they want to revoke his birth-right citizenship entirely.

You can't fix stupid.

Perhaps.

But it does mean you’re ignorant and frightened – an unwarranted fear of diversity, inclusion, and expressions of individual liberty.
