How much will they cost after shipping overseas and meeting all US current safety requirements like:

Anti-lock brakes (ABS)
Automatic emergency braking (AEB)
Tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
Three-point seat belts
Air bags
Electronic stability control
Backup cameras
Blind spot warning
Forward collision warning
Lane departure warning
Adaptive cruise control

Also how will they fare in US crash tests, a car may be 5 grand cheaper but if it gets a 1 star crash test do you really want to buy it?
(although I believe some of their cars do well in the Euro crash tests)
