2. Given that the results are in fact auditable, it's hard to take the article seriously

Also claiming that there were hidden Republicans when the poll averages were very accurate is a tough sell.

Nothing in there is evidence. It's poorly sourced opinion at best.

Lots of absent Democrats. Party splitting to a high degree. Voter suppression. Unfortunately nothing can be proven and Democrats in power aren’t interested. But questions still need to be asked.

In Michigan and broaght to their attention That Biden is still our president. Since Trump has stated he is going to replace all our generals and military with his Nazi style generals; that means war. We should take them out right now before the end of Joe Biden’s administration.

The 2022 Mid Terms were right after that and Republicans won nationwide by 3%, so similar to the 2024 margin.

6. Jonathan Simon's 11/16/24 article on WhoWhatWhy

gave a bit of comfort after a lengthy read... Simon writes:

"Vice President Harris, if you are by some chance listening, I hope you understand that committing to the peaceful transfer of power is not incompatible with using whatever legal means are provided to ensure that the election giving rise to that transfer was legitimate."

14. Thank you, very interesting

Ever since the winner was announced, I have had the sense that something didn't add up. It was as if I was told, don't believe your eyes and ears, along with an uncanny sense of things, that have worked a certain way, were now out of sync as they concluded the process, and the results felt way off.

I hope a recount is done, what is there to loose.

15. Difference b/w 2020 and 2024 vote ...
Mon Nov 18, 2024, 01:32 AM

… could just be that more low propensity, low motivation voters cast ballots in 2020 due to pandemic-era mail-in voting expansion. Combined with Trump being the miserably failing incumbent in 2020 and Democrats being in power when prices spiked post-COVID (without any direct action, hearings, commissions, etc. addressing the profiteering), it’s reasonable to think that the 2024 Dem candidate would fall short of the 2020 total.

I’d still prefer some hand recounts to validate the electronic systems, and am a little amazed that random hand recounts aren’t part of the system.

17. Still not seeing any evidence in that article either

And some of the core arguments are weak, especially the claim that votes are being flipped by code in the voting machines.

The problem with this is we see the same overall trend across all voting methods, including those that don't use an electronic machine to cast the vote. If votes were being flipped in the machine, we would see choppier data based on method of voting / voting equipment used.

Article posted just just another steam of hypotheticals and angst about the polls being wrong.
