https://thefederalnewswire.com/stories/665892188-litigation-coalition-forming-to-confront-trump-administration-policiesA coalition of over 280 organizations has announced what it says is a multimillion-dollar legal initiative to challenge policies from the incoming Trump administration. The coalition, "Democracy 2025, includes legal, advocacy, and policy groups to "disrupt far-right attacks on the American people," according to its website.
According to a press release by the coalition, Democracy 2025 is spearheaded by Democracy Forward, a legal advocacy organization to promote "transparent and accountable governance. The coalition says more than 800 individuals are involved, including "litigators, strategists, advocates, academics, policy experts, and faith leaders."
The coalition said it will use its litigation fund to "ensure swift and effective responses to any executive actions deemed harmful or unlawful."

(57,540 posts)And they will most likely lose.
SCOTUS ignored the text of the Constitution and allowed a known insurrectionist to run for office; then granted that traitor immunity out of "whole cloth". Maga has infested all levels of our government.
It's impossible for me to believe the courts will be of any help.

(34,651 posts)I agree.
I am making a recurring donation to the ACLU.
It is great when they win cases, but even if they just slow the fascist down that is a good accomplishment.
