Will Bunch: "Morning Joe" capitulation is another of my worst fears about life under Trump 47 - that those of us who

plan to keep writing against Trump's autocratic ways are going to be marginalized as "dead enders" who aren't getting with the program, which will make it easier to shut us up

During the run-up to the Iraq War, MSNBC fired the late Phil Donahue because of his anti-war stance. Oddly enough, he was replaced by Countdown with Keith Olbermann, who would become a huge critic of the war on his own show.

the sociopath gish gallop over them without any attempt to ask follow-up questions.

This was obvious during the sociopath's so called press conferences this year.

It was only the Black Journalist of America that held his feet to the fire, and he cut that interview short.

I wouldn't be optomistic about the MSM doing their job.

Does anyone remember the WMD lie, and the complete lack of the MSM to adequately cover inspectors and others with knowledge of the situation to refute the WMD claim?

What they did to Hillary was a complete breakdown of journalistic integrity when 11 days before the general election after comey released the letter to the republicans in congress, the MSM said the email investigation was reopened. That was a LIE, and the MSM
then proceeded to parade every right wing pundit across their outlets propagating that lie for the next 7 days non-stop.

Late Friday, the weekend before the 2016 general election, comey quietly came out and said there was no new information to justify reopening the investigation. The press barely mentioned it as a sideline, and that fact was mostly ignored.

No one should be surprised when most of the inept, lazy MSM falls right in line behind trump.

She was invited on to help promote her weekend show on MSNBC. In the course of the discussion, she disagreed with Joey and he got upset. Her segment was cut short and after she was told that guests on the show were not allowed to disagree with Joey.

There are also a number of NBC News correspondents and commentators who refuse to appear on it due to either rude behavior from a member of the cast when they appeared or restrictions of what they can and cannot say. Joan Walsh once questioned something MEka said on air and MEka got nasty while still on air. Walsh never appeared again. Tucker Carlson is a good friend of Willie Geist, so no criticism of Carlson is allowed on the days Geist is on the show.

"In this meeting, President Trump was cheerful, he was upbeat, he seemed interested in finding common ground with Democrats on some of the most divisive issues," Brzezinski said. "And for those asking why we would go speak to the president-elect during such fraught times, especially between us, I guess I would ask back, 'Why wouldn't we?'"

Okay, I know the networks are desperate to keep their access to the freakshow circus, but this is beyond the pale... Hell, the sheer number of people who have been standing in line to kiss King Donnie's ring like he's a mob boss really makes me wonder what our country has become.

and as for Mika, there's a woman who doesn't KNOW HER VALUE. If she did she would dump that clod and go out on her own.

Every time I tuned in either Trump was on a call or they were talking about Hillary's emails and private server.

I never forgot. I still watch them because I really like their guests, pundits and journalists. Joe can really hit the nail on the head as far a Trump goes, but he fails to convince me that he is as much against the MAGA cult as he pretends. I am sure that since Trump is President elect he and Mika are fearing what might be instore for them at the Network.

I have made up my mind that if MSNBC continues to search out the truth and gives the facts they will be my only cable new source. If not, why should I bother. I will keep searching the Internet and reading the Guardian and Philadelphia Enquirer for my news.
