He keeps confusing tv and movies for reality. So in his feeble mind Hannibal Lecter was a real person instead of a fiction character. Just my 2 cents.

.... Mucho Lardo for his lavish all you can eat Thanksgiving Dinner Celebration. Djt did not realize he was a fictional character in a movie.

but at times I do feel that a phrase means something else. And they like to dangle it out there and enjoy the inside joke, "ha ha, they can't figure it OUT! ROFLMAO". That is so, so Republican. I grew up in such a community. That is what they are like. Of course, I was always on the outside of the joke, and usually didn't know the joke was going on for many years if at all.

It goes along with saying things that mean different things to different people. During Three Mile Island they told us "There is no immediate threat to the public." True. Cancers were years away. But the public swallowed the Corporate PR hook line and sinker.

We're being fed such doggerel on deregulation. Deregulation is good for business profitability. But it's often bad for people's health.

He is already far enough down the dementia trail that he thinks immigrants -> asylum seekers -> asylum for criminally insane -> Lecter. Plus he is far enough down that he would have trouble remembering and how and why to say something like a code. These simple surmises accord with known facts and should be assumed outside of speculation.

Back in the realm of data science, what purpose would be served by traitorous felonious guy uttering a particular codeword?

What "data cannibalism" means is AIs being trained on internet traffic that is polluted by the output of other AIs. There might be vicious circles of reinforcement as they find and regurgitate more and more maga crap.

Trump likes the idea of torturing, killing, devouring people.
The ultimate in sadism, power and control.

Djt was hopping Hannibal Lecter could teach him a thing or two.

He so admirers him and his stand-up guy sort of character.

Reminding him of Roy Cohn from his days of youth.

His parents sent him to military schools because he got kicked out of regular schools.
Hitting teachers, etc.

Trump has been attracted to others who commit crimes.
Who act out in violent and criminal ways.

So yes he surrounds himself with people like himself.
