REPORTER: Is this effort in response to Congresswoman McBride coming to Congress?
NANCY MACE: Yes, and absolutely, and then some. Someone with a penis in the women's locker room -- that's not ok. I'm a victim of abuse myself. I'm a rape survivor.

(106,472 posts)Fine, close down one bathroom for Congresswoman McBryde ONLY. Then when there are lines at the others or they are not as readily accessible, let MACE take the most deserved heat.

(33,073 posts)Hey, Nancy! The head of your fucking party is an adjudicated rapist. Half of the guys he has nominated are sex offenders. Your entire fucking party is infested with rapists and other sexual predators. Where's your concern about them? Take your hateful bill and shove it up your hypocritical ass. Go back to bragging about your sex life at a prayer breakfast, and leave trans people and the rest of us alone.

1. Intimidation
2. Incarceration
3. Extermination
She is vile indeed.

(112 posts)The trans issue, is likely, the main cause of Harris losing.
No one pro or anti likes to talk about it, but it's the major underlying issue of the day.
I wasn't aware of how much so until after the election.
A lot of people were influenced by those ads.
Democrats need to figure out a way to counter the programming that has already happened on this issue.
And do it quickly.

(90,226 posts)...when there's no record of some trans-rape culture.
Or any actual pattern of any crimes from trans-individuals.
I refuse to give fealty to deliberate slurs and lies, for any reason, especially to further some political goal.
The 'trans issue' is a political canard. Start there, and remember, recognize, and defend the rights of the people that are being discussed.

(112 posts)Thinking people like you and I see it as that, which is what I was saying.
However, the reality is, that a vast majority of people don't.
They're repulsed by the thought.
They don't outright say it, but they are when you really start talking to them.
They can't even properly vocalize it, and when you point out these facts, they don't have an answer.
However, they vote on these feelings.
We see the results of this.
Democrats need to deal w/that issue and deal w/it quickly.

(3,147 posts)that women would be "endangered" from a male-now-female is absurd. Way more dangerous the other way around -- with a male-turned-female being required to use a men's room. The irony is that MTG would be perfectly safe in either.

I have never had a problem with a transgender woman in the bathroom. It's not and has never been an issue.
