They should have those files already. And shame on them if they don't.

“This report shows that the supplemental background investigation was a sham, controlled by the Trump White House, to give political cover to Senate Republicans and put Justice Kavanaugh back on the political track to confirmation.”

so yes, a president has this power.

One would hope a president would use it for political appointees only, to defend the nation, and not against political enemies as a weapon. But keep in mind who the next president will be.

Trump will use this as a precedent he will exploit to “go after” his political enemies. I expect he will do that anyway, since he “randomly” audited Comey and others — that probably was the plan. Expect a lot of character assassination and blackmail.

So I say, do it. Maybe we can stop the most compromised picks from going through. But red state and district residents will have to pressure your senators and congresspeople. Let them know we know what they know and are watching them.

That Trump himself wouldn't have passed the Top Secret clearances, nor would any of his spawn or Jared pass last time.

Jared used his un-qualified clearance, from not only the U.S. but every other NATO country, to reap over TWO BILLION DOLLARS from the Saudi's.

I just saw where once again, all our allies are instituting a policy to NOT share ANY of their intelligence with Trump, Gabbard, or anyone else in the U.S. Gov't.....

Even a job as a volunteer at a school, hospital, or pet shelter requires more than the Presidency. It serves us right for accepting that we have to meet certain standards but the president can be ... well ... Donald Trump (not once but TWICE). And, the president-elect doesn't get vetted either so...

I am of the mind that they stole it so there's that to add to it all. There's just something about the fact that there were so many votes for Trump with no other selections made. I understand now, after my initial reaction, that this phenomenon is called "bullet ballots". I do believe we have been had. I have no proof, I just know it in my gut.

Since Trump is planning to remove our generals and replace with his own, can we…

. Declare war on Trump and all his maggots.
. By his statement of replacing all the generals, I think we can do this because we still have 3 1/2 months under Biden‘s administration.
. After all, he said, our generals are bad and should be replaced by Nazi style generals that Trump said he adores.

Even if Trump and the Rs keep most or all the terrible picks, the public should be informed about who and what they are.

But, investigations take time. I don't think the FBI could get all of those seditionists vetted in 60 days.

It would be nice if they could get started, find some shit, and then someone accidentally hit the "forward" button on their email to make the results public. Maybe Joe himself could leak it and rely on this newfangled immunity thing to protect himself.
