Celebrity Endorsements

Don't mean dick.

Taylor Swift didn't mean dick.
Beyonce didn't mean dick.
Oprah didn't mean dick.
George Clooney didn't mean dick.

None of their high-minded endorsements did anything. You know what did mean everything as wrong as it was: the fucking 24-hour messaging put out by the complicit and compliant right-wing media into the homes of the dumbest people on the face of the planet.

It's time for Democrats to turn away from fluffing celebrities and start concentrating on the people who give actual power to candidates.

Insofar as celebrities cement Dems’ image as out of touch, insincere and elitist.

Not saying celebrities can’t share their political views, but Dems would be foolish to trot around next to them onstage.

Elections shouldn’t just boil down to, “Who do you dislike more?,” but this one kind of did. And when a laundry list of celebrities can’t beat JD Vance in a likability contest, that tells you how low celebrity has sunk in Americans’ estimation.

and constant social media spam about coitus with couches and calling people "weird" doesn't win elections?

Damn, I thought we had nailed the formula.
