And you can be, wait a minute Bill, kids don’t get to vote for him so you need to exclude kids when talking about this election. But this election was all about today’s kids and their rejection of everything Donald Trump stands for.

So much of this election was Republican anger at the majority of America’s kids for not being white enough, their version of male enough, “Christian” enough, or straight enough. Of all the young people Republicans were lashing out against this election, none had them angrier at the future of this country than transgender kids and their families who love them.

Yes, hard times ahead and so much senseless, needless suffering for millions of kids and their families. But nothing sums up today’s Republican party better than a bunch of con men pretending they know better than the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. They don’t know better.

There’s right and wrong in this world. Every day we are seeing more of just how wrong Republicans have become.

And to all those facing these Republican needless waves of hate, please hang in there. The future is so much brighter than the now. The Republicans are already flaming out spectacularly and it’s still two months from the inauguration.

Nobody elected them to be cruel to trans kids. They were elected to provide cheap eggs, milk, and hash browns. Once they deport all the poultry and dairy farm workers and everyone responsible for picking, processing, and preparing potatoes prices will skyrocket and Republican support will crumble. Then we will see a brighter future. Not long now.
