Apparently Sen Chris Coons has endorsed Musk's "DOGE" advisory committee and how it could be a "constructive undertaking".
Friends like these, who needs enemies.

(6,652 posts)it had recommendations for bolstering Social Security trust fund and raising payments to those on the low end of the benefits scale.
Instead nothing happened and we are a few years away from an automatic SS cut of around 17%. Will we get another chance to do something under the gun, or will GOPers make the changes?
Point is, think Coons is right to want to be involved with decisions that will impact us all, and not just be a critic. Screaming and hollering ain't gonna stop the DOGE from meeting and issuing findings. Now getting those "findings" enacted by Congress is another question. Hopefully we'll do well in Midterms.
