But seriously, how fucked are we?

On a scale of 1(not fucked at all and everything is going to be just fine) to 10(Nazi Germany wins world War 2 and Man in the High Castle shit takes effect -but with more nuking), how seriously fucked is humanity as a direct or indirect consequence of Trump winning this election?

Human civilization. Not even so much the fate of an individual nation or well being of any individual group of people...

Think. Again.

...and that we'll just "adapt!" and learn "resilience!", but the changes our planetary environment will now go through will be catastrophic.

Yes, there will probably be a human animal left on earth when things calm down, but any societies we rebuild at that point will be unrecognizable from what has developed alng with us so far.

And that might be a good thing in the long run, for the human species anyway.

but now it will happen faster.

I feel the most for other species. It is not their fault.

All the beauty in the world and a handful of ugly humans denying us our future.

as useful as sitting in a car stuck in mud and focusing on how stuck you are. Or, worse, encouraging anyone else in the car with you to just sit there and talk about how stuck you are.

Stuck in a mud puddle. We couldn't see the hood of the suburban - It was under the mud. Couldn't open the doors cause the mud was up to the windows. I crawled out of the back window and got on the roof and got the attention of a dozer driver - he pulled us out. We made a bucket brigade using our hardhats to wash the mud out of the engine compartment.

Seems likely.

Who will I blame when I lose everything. Everyone else will be screwed as well.

Holding out hope that normal people will hold the line against madmen.

believe that tens of thousands of provable lies in 4 years, 34 felony convictions, two impeachments, an attempted coup d'état, at least 26 accusations of sexual assault, six bankruptcies, and on and on and on are not disqualifying for the highest public office in the land?
