Three more accusers have filed sexual assault lawsuits against Sean Diddy Combs alleging they were drugged with spiked drinks and then raped by the rapper and music mogul in incidents dating as recently as 2022.
The new lawsuits, first reported by TMZ, were filed separately through a New York lawyer by anonymous plaintiffs. The suits allege that the plaintiffs went to parties with Combs, in two cases in hotels and the third at his mansion in the Hamptons, where he gave them alcoholic drinks after which drinking they quickly passed out and came to when he was raping them.
Combs has denied all the allegations and pleaded not guilty. His lawyers told TMZ that the three new lawsuits were full of lies. They added: We will prove them false and seek sanctions against every unethical lawyer who filed fictional claims against him.
The plaintiffs are all male and identified in court documents only as John Doe, according to NBC News. The assaults alleged in the filings occurred between 2019 and 2022.

(10,366 posts)Sorry, mistyped. I am not even slightly shocked by any of this.
At this point, people in Hollywood have to actively prove to me they didn't know or participate in this stuff. It's so widespread, so known, and there's always the after the fact, "Well, everybody knew for years, so . . ."
Yeah. I believe them. I believe most people in the industry know about this stuff. Hell, I have friends in the industry, and they've talked about a lot of these people for years and years. Television shows had jokes about Spacey and Weinstein as far back as 2006. People talked about Diddy's parties back in the 00s.
Tom Hanks exceptions will no longer be given out. They must be earned. Except for Tom Hanks. He's grandfathered in.
Everyone else in Hollywood is sus until proven otherwise. I bet Meryl Streep has a lot of gossip. (Never forgave her for calling Weinstein God. The hell that someone at her level didn't know)

What bullshit. They'll tell stories about Andy Dick maybe. But no. They don't. But conspiracy theories always do well, people always assume there's some in group that knows everything. Even if the in group is composed of... what, tens of thousands of people?
But I get it, it's fucking gross. Even when I worked around a goddamn rapist I had no clue what was going on. It felt disgusting afterwards that I didn't somehow figure it out. Or that nobody talked, even among preening gossips.

(10,366 posts)I lived in L.A. for a little while - roomed with industry types - and they were talking about people like Bryan Singer and his parties even back then twenty years ago. People like Cosby, Weinstein, Spacey, etc. I've friends still in that industry, and every allegation that eventually gets mainstream legs isn't the faintest surprise.
And if below the line people have known about it for years, higher ups definitely do.
Of course in that kind of industry, there's strong incentive to "go along to get along" in order to secure their own careers. It's a small, small town. Much smaller than people think. And of course once everything spills out into the public, it's "I had no idea this person who has been famously followed by open rumors for years turned out to have been exactly what those rather loud rumors said." What are they going to say? "Yeah, I basically knew. But I was getting that bag and awards recognition, so why put that at risk?"
Their PR person would bounce on the spot.

(41 posts)I hope everyone harmed by these horrible greasy sex parties get therapy and heals mentally, physically and emotionally.
Also, I hope that Betty White never went to Diddy's parties.
