Luigi Mangione, the man charged in the killing of UnitedHealthcare chief executive Brian Thompson, did not have coverage from the health insurer, the company said Friday.

In general per his manifesto.

Presumably he found the UHC CEO a soft target and with their particularly bad denial rate, Thompson was chosen.

I don’t understand why this is an issue
