Golf will have to end an hour earlier. As will softball, pickleball, etc.

Unless he meant to say he would end Standard Time

When he says "eliminate daylight savings", I am sure that he means eliminate changing the clocks - not necessarily eliminating daylight savings as most people favor going to it full time. I am sure he couldn't tell you which one is an hour earlier or later between daylight savings and standard time.

Recent polls have shown 60% in favor of eliminating the time change and only 20% in favor of keeping it. He just wants this to claim that he fixed a problem that no one else could possibly have done and gain favor by doing so.
