If you're an Xfinity Internet Essentials customer

You've probably noticed that your monthly price is about to go up from $9.95 to $14.95 a month.

You can thank the Republicans for that. They're the ones who ended the ACP (Affordable Connectivity Program) that was part of the Infrastructure law.

bill went up to over $90 a month just for internet. When Verizon 5G internet finally covered my address, I switched and am paying less than half the Spectrum charge and the service is WAY better. No throttling like horrible Spectrum

And I posted about it on DU and was offered a workable solution in less than ten minutes. I am happy with my new service for which I pay less than a third of what rectum wanted. I would not be able to afford Internet access otherwise.

Since ACP expired in the spring, my LTE Home internet cost is $32/mo.

LTE Home gives me 60 mbps down and 6 mbps up, so, while not crazy fast like Fios (which isn't available to me), it's sufficient for streaming and internet usage.
